Located in the charming old part of MB, this new bakery is on the site of an old bakery--I remember when it was an Italian bakery in the 80's. The interior is clean and pleasant with some original bright and clever art. I asked the server and she said one of the owners is an artist! The food is very good. I had some delicious soup. The desserts and breakfast items were beautiful! They serve sandwiches and burgers, and even entrees such as Land & Sea BBQ and Blackened Salmon. It's an international menu! Please stop in and try this nice Myrtle Beach addition.
The bakery stuff was good, especially the butter croissants and pain-au-chocolat. Some other items on the menu were a touch too sweet. Loved the location too.
This place is amazing. The bread is delicious and so far every pastry we tried has been delicious. The bakery employees are very friendly and help explain the menu if needed. I will definitely be back soon!!
Bona fide bakery! Just a few steps from the boardwalk and worth the walk. Fluffy, large croissants filled the display case in various capacities (plain, chocolate, strawberry filled), along with more yummy baked goods like fruit dumplings and tarts. Grabbed a snack for the beach before coming back for lunch. The full menu has a lot of options and is made to order, warmed if it's a baked good, so don't expect a 5 to 10-minute turnaround. Take a seat, check out the fun art or dessert case. I think it was a one person show, maybe two, during our visit so, come with patience. Our patience paid off with hot, freshly made food - amazing empanada's and buttery croissants, everything down to the bread of the cheeseburger was notable.
Had a Bavarian custard donut and it was awesome!!! Have to try lunch next time!! Met the owner and his son in law- very nice and passionate about their food. I'll be back!
